Historical Preservation

Western Archaeological Services qualified historians follow the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards to identify and preserve various historic resources. These experts determine the historic significance of trails, buildings, landscapes, districts, roads and traditional cultural properties, as well as work to assure that historic integrity is maintained while client projects progress. They have experience with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act and can guide clients through all activities of compliance.
